🏡 About River & Twine

What is a tiny home hotel?
River & Twine offers individually designed tiny homes with private bathrooms, sleeping areas, living spaces, and convenient amenities. Our homes are intentionally compact and designed to make the most of every square foot.

Are all the cabins the same?
No. Each cabin has its own layout, design, sleeping arrangements, loft access, headroom, and features.

🛏️ Sleeping & Lofts

What beds are in the tiny homes?

All tiny homes have a queen-size bed in the loft, including The Little.

Ladder models: Downstairs futon converts to a full-size bed.

Staircase models: Downstairs seating area converts to a full/queen-size bed.

The Pee Dee: Full-size ground-floor bed + queen loft.

The Trent: Full-size ground-floor bed + queen loft.

The Little: Queen loft only; no downstairs sleeping arrangement.

All linens and bedding are provided.

Do the lofts have the same amount of headroom?
No.

Staircase models: More headroom in the loft.

Ladder models: Less headroom in the loft but more headspace downstairs, including the living area and bathroom.

Do the tiny homes have full kitchens?

Most do not, but all cabins include:

Microwave
Mini refrigerator
Keurig coffee maker and K-Cups
Coffee cups
Paper plates and plastic forks
Water bottles
Sink
Hand soap
Paper towels
Toilet paper and additional paper products

Does River & Twine have a full kitchen?

Yes! Cabin 9, The Eno, has a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, gas stovetop, microwave, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cups, and silverware.

Is there an ice maker?

We do not have an ice maker on property, but several nearby grocery and convenience stores sell ice.

🔌Do you have EV charging?

Yes. Tesla EV chargers are located just across the street at Rocky Mount Mills, which is part of our property.

🗓️CANCELLATION POLICY

River & Twine understands that sometimes travel plans change. A full refund will be provided if your reservation is cancelled at least 7 days prior to arrival. All holiday reservations are non-refundable.

Cancellations made within the 7-day window are not eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled for a future stay, subject to availability.

Please note that we do not issue refunds due to inclement weather.

Self-check-in is available, including after-hours arrivals.

Do you offer early check-in?

Yes! Early check-in is available for $25, based on availability, and provides access beginning at 1:00 PM. Early check-in must be confirmed in advance.

🔥 Fire Pits & Outdoor Areas

We have four wood-burning chimeneas and provide the firewood, fire starters, and matches.

We also have a large covered gazebo with a gas fire pit near the hammocks, gas grills for guest use, and picnic tables.

Can I get a s'mores kit?

Absolutely! S'mores kits are available as an add-on package when booking.

🚗 Parking

Designated guest parking is available.

Parking directly beside the tiny homes is primarily for loading and unloading.

Some outdoor paths may include gravel or uneven surfaces.

🐶 Pets

We love our four-legged guests! 🐾

Pet-friendly cabins:

Pet fee: $40 per pet, per night.

Pets are only permitted in designated pet-friendly cabins.

♿ Accessibility

Are the tiny homes wheelchair accessible?

Our tiny homes are generally not designed for wheelchair accessibility, and some require stairs or ladders to reach the loft.

Do you have an ADA accommodation?

Yes!

Fishing Creek at The Guest House is located just down the street from the tiny home village.

It features:

Wheelchair-accessible ramp
ADA-accessible interior
ADA-accessible bathroom

The Guest House is a separate building from the main tiny home village.

Group blocks:

Available for qualifying wedding and corporate groups
Two-night minimum
Unbooked cabins expire 45 days before arrival
Guests receive a unique booking link to reserve their own cabin

🧹 Housekeeping

Cabins are thoroughly cleaned before arrival.

Daily housekeeping is generally not provided for short stays.

If you need assistance during your stay, please contact our team.

🌡️ Temperature

Because of the loft design, temperatures can naturally vary between upstairs and downstairs.

Guests can adjust the thermostat to their comfort level. During the colder months, we also provide space heaters for additional warmth and comfort when needed.

📺 Entertainment & Wi-Fi

Our cabins are equipped with Wi-Fi and TVs, as well as a variety of family-friendly and adult games for guests to enjoy during their stay.

Looking to get outside? We also have a game shed stocked with outdoor games such as cornhole, Mega Jenga, and more! 🎲

Perfect for a little friendly competition during your stay.

🧺 Laundry

At this time, we do not have laundry facilities on-site.

There are several laundromats located nearby for guests who need access to washers and dryers.
